Human Dimensions of Fishery Management

Techniques and philosophy for conservation, management and development of harvested marine populations. Emphasis on integration of ecological, sociological, and economic dimensions of institutional decision making for policy formation in uncertain environments. Offered: jointly with FISH 480.

Class description

In Winter Quarter 2011 this course (offered together with FISH 480 and ESRM 458) will focus on "Human Dimensions of Fish and Wildlife Conservation." In addition to graduate students, seniors and juniors are invited to participate in this interdisciplinary class.
