Survey of Linguistic Method and Theory

Examines major linguistic theories in phonology, syntax and semantics; linguistic analysis and argumentation. Not available for credit to students who have completed LING 200.

Autumn 2000 --Major linguistic theories in phonology, syntax and semantics; linguistic analysis and argumentation; social factors correlated with linguistic variation. Intended for students who plan to pursue further linguistic or language-related study.
