Second-Year Intensive Japanese

Equivalent of JAPAN 211, JAPAN 212, JAPAN 213. Satisfies requirements for entry to JAPAN 311, but recommended primarily for those going to Japan shortly upon completion. Prerequisite: either JAPAN 113 or JAPAN 134. Offered: S.

Class description

The purpose of this course is to continue building a solid foundation in speaking, listening, reading and writing in Japanese. Approxomately 270 kanji will be introduced in the course.

General method of instruction

Drill sections are conducted entirely in Japanese.

Recommended preparation

Review Nakama 1 grammars and kanji.

Class assignments and grading

Homework is assigned everyday.
