Class description

"Life in Israel"

This course explores aspects of contemporary life in Israel through film and popular culture. Taught in English. Students are required to write 5 short response papers and complete 4-5 page final project. Grading: Credit/No Credit. Class assignments and grading

Students will be assigned five short response papers or writing assignments, plus a five page final essay.

Short papers: 50%; Final essay - 50%.
