Project Capstone II

Includes design and implementation of a system or development of a research question intended to solve an information problem. Incorporates stakeholder and peer feedback, creation of project deliverables, presentation of the project in a public forum, and final assessment. Prerequisite: INFO 490.

Class description

This course aims to prepare you to become a competent researcher. A competent researcher is someone who is proficient in:

1. Completing an end-to-end, successful research process (including defining a research problem, designing research protocol, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting finding) 2. Using technology to support the research process 3. Using an agile approach to carrying out the research process 4. Evaluating the quality of research that is carried out by himself or herself and other researchers
