Practicum in Community Service Activity

Tutoring and teaching experiences in a school or community service organization. Placement made according to participant interests and needs. Participation on a predetermined schedule plus scheduled orientation and debriefing sessions are required. Offered: AWSp.

Class description

Students explore the current world of math and science in K-12 schools by attending seminars that focus on current educational topics and tutoring at least 2½ (2 credits) hours a week. Additional Credits are available.
