Host Defense to Cancer

Addresses the mechanisms of cellular homeostasis, balancing cells of immune system, programmed cell death, immune surveillance, cancer immunotherapy. Companion course with IMMUN 535. Prerequisite: graduate standing in immunology; other graduate students with permission of instructor. Offered: odd years, Sp, weeks 1-5.

Class description

Course is renamed: "Host Defense to Cancer" Offered during the first 5 weeks of Spring Quarter during ODD numbered years only -- 2007, 2009, etc. Next offering is 2007. A two-part course, offered with Immun 535 "Host Defense to Infection", which is offered in EVEN numbered years only -- 2006, 2008, etc. Course chair for both is Dr. Edward Clark.
