Class description

The course will deal with the AMERICAN novels of Vladimir Nabokov: Pnin, Lolita, and Pale Fire. We will also read parts of his autobiography, Speak, Memory and some short stories written in English.

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE:

Week 1-2: SPEAK, MEMORY; American Stories

Week 3-4: PNIN

Week 5-7: LOLITA

Week 8-10: PALE FIRE
