Topics in Chinese Social History

Surveys major issues and approaches to the study of the role of the Chinese people in China' s historical development. Historical focus of course varies with instructor. Recommended: HSTAS 211, HSTAS 452, HSTAS 453, or HSTAS/JSIS A 454. Offered: jointly with JSIS A 456.
