Class description
The emphasis in this course in on conversation. Texts read and discussed in class aim not only at an increase in the ability to speak, understand and write German, but also at broadening the student's understanding of German-speaking countries.

Written exercises are designed to reinforce the student's speaking skills. Areas of grammar in which the student may be deficient will also be reviewed.

Prerequisite: German 203 or diagnostic exam.
