Articles pertaining to epidemiology and related subjects selected from the current literature to be distributed and read by all participants. Student learning goals
Critique selected articles from the epidemiological literature
Discuss strengths and limitations of various epidemiological study designs, methods and approaches utilized in studies described in selected articles
Describe specific sources of potential bias in selected articles and how such types of bias may affect interpretation of study results
General method of instruction
Materials: Reference to selected published paper(s) from the epidemiological literature will be provided the week before each class session.
