Environmental Health Special Electives

Class description

This is course is designed to help students majoring in Environmental Health Sciences prepare for and pass the Registered Sanitarian/Registered Environmental Health Specialist examination.

Student learning goals

Each student will determined whether or not becoming a Registered Sanitarian/Registered EH Specialist is an appropriate career preparation step for his or her eventual employment.

Each student will have identified their areas of strength and weakness within the broad field of Environmental Health

Each student will have developed an educational plan, based on this analysis to address those areas of weakness.

General method of instruction

Self-assessment test, review of the NEHA Study Guide, Review of textbooks and class noted from other ENV H classes.

This is a credit/no credit class.
