Study and practice of good writing; topics derived from reading and discussing stories, poems, essays, and plays. Cannot be taken if student has already received a grade of 2.0 or higher in either ENGL 111, ENGL 121, or ENGL 131.
Class description
This course will specifically cover the American 1950's and 1960's from a literary, filmic, historical, and theoretical perspective, with a high expectation of class participation. I would recommend taking this class if you are interested in majoring in History or English.
