Class Description
Phytoremediation is the use of plants to remediate environmental pollutants. In this course, we will cover the many aspects of phytoremediation, its advantages and disadvantages, and the techniques used. The students will each present a recent research article for discussion.
One lecture on phytoremediation followed by a journal club format for the remainder of the quarter.
