Rehearsal and classroom performance of dramatic literature of various periods and styles.

Class description

Music Theatre Workshop

This course focuses on music theatre performance practice, including solo performance, audition techniques and chorus work. Class participants will prepare and perform songs from the Broadway stage, in addition to exploring acting challenges unique to music theatre. The course culminates in a cabaret-style performance, open to the public.
