Projects in Acting

Rehearsal and classroom performance of dramatic literature of various periods and styles.

Class description

This comprehensive course covers the intermediate poses of Hatha Yoga with the introductory breath practices of Pranayama Yoga. We will begin with a review of the beginner’s level of practice and gradually develop the skills for an intermediate level of practice. Designed for singers, actors, dancers and students interested in personal wellness, the course will work towards introductory inverted positions, such as the shoulder stands. There will be no head stands practiced in this class. Students will be required to bring a mat, wear appropriate clothing and complete a confidential wellness survey. As the classes are cumulative, and each session builds upon previous sessions, full classroom attendance will be required for course credit.
