Lighting Technology

Student functions as master electrician for one production during the quarter.

Class description

Survey of the technical aspects of lighting design: instrumentation, lighting consoles, drafting, paperwork, properties of light, electricity, dimming systems, as well as practical uses of instrumentation and consoles for tech rehearsal and cue writing.
