Class description

Discovering the fundamental tools of acting. Including analysis, light theory, monologues and some acting in pairs and small groups. The goal is primarily to boost the actors confidence and skill level, paving the way for future venture in the performing arts or just simply to give added assertiveness for public speaking and presence in any walk of life. Students will be moving and speaking more than most classes, so clothing that facilitates movement is a must. Bringing water in a closed container to class is also a good idea.

Grading will be based on class participation, willingness to learn and explore and preparedness. No grades will be given based upon tallent level, but rather on the effort put forth towards personal growth.
