Through self-evaluation and the use of “mock” auditions, students will learn to distinguish their unique voices, and how to identify marketing and networking possibilities to succeed as performers. The course also covers information on contract negotiations, agents and managers, performers’ unions, grant writing, and survival strategies “between gigs.
