Class description
This course is an exploration of global patterns of consumer mobile behavior, with a specific emphasis on the socio-cultural motivations and attitudes that are driving these behaviors, as well as the transformational affects mobile technology is having on all corners of the globe.
Student learning goals
Understand the cultural impact and influence “mobile devices” across the unwired web, communications, entertainment, content creation, banking and commerce on global scale
Assess and/or predict the likelihood of success for future mobile products or services, inclusive of those utilizing current mobile technologies, as well as those not yet invented
This course provides an appropriate introduction to the mobile landscape for students interested in taking "Advanced Mobile Media Development and Integration."
