Class description
The UW CHID 2013 Local/Global Internships in Seattle: Agency, Theory, and Change provides a unique opportunity for selected undergraduates to earn full-time, academic credit while exploring the connections between global ideas and local work.
Over a 9-week period, students will both work in local organizations with a transnational focus and participate in seminars which will provide a space for reflection on how to incorporate theory into practice.
Although we'll be making some changes to this year's program, you can check out last year's course website to get a sense of the work: https://catalyst.uw.edu/workspace/tlmyers/30678/
