Explores a range of special topics in fibers, including non-traditional materials and processes and interdisciplinary areas of interest within the field, while offering specific technical, hands-on training when appropriate. Emphasizes the development of the thematic content of the individual's work.
Class description
This course will explore the question of interactivity in art-making. How do artists invite participation by the viewer in their art works, events, and ideas? Low-tech or No-tech forms of interactivity will be emphasized, ie artist books, games, functional objects.

Recommended preparation
This is a course which emphasized the individual students development of themes. Consequently the student must have an established set of technical skills gathered from a variety of 200 and 300 level courses.
