Painting I

Beginning oil painting. Prerequisite: ART 121; ART 123; ART 124; may not be repeated.

Class Description

Painting I Autumn 2003 Basic painting techniques with an emphasis on composition and color theory.

Classroom assignments with ongoing group critiques and individual instruction.

Recommended preparation

Basic drawing.

Class Assignments and Grading

In-class assignments which will require additional out-of-class development.

Individual accomplishment.
