Current Issues in Sociocultural Anthropology

Biweekly presentations by participants and guest lecturers of current literature and ongoing research in topics pertaining to social, cultural, and linguistic anthropology. Prerequisite: first-year sociocultural graduate students in good standing or permission of sociocultural faculty. Credit/no-credit only.

Class description

In Winter 2004 these colloquia will feature the work of a number of visiting sociocultural anthropologists whose research focuses on the study of medicine; see website for details. On weeks when no lecture is scheduled, other relevant events and activities will be arranged.
