Class description
What does it mean to be a nurse? Where did the idea of nursing come from? Why does the profession have its particular problems? The topic for this class will be "Nursing History/Gender History." It is a non-traditional exploration of history as it relates to the current structure and function of the contemporary nursing profession. We will use the past to understand the present, and hopefully, shape the future!
