Explores perspectives on educational policy and practice.

Class description

"Race, Culture, & Identity in the Classroom" will look at the relationship between what the content of the curriculum and students' identity. Specifically this course will cover issues associated with multicultural education, multicultural curriculum, and teaching for social justice.

Grades are assigned based on class participation and successful completion of weekly and major assignments.
