Digital Business Lab

MIS concentration capstone. Provides a broad understanding of the impact of information technology on the corporation. Uses various learning tools such as case studies, portfolios, site visits, visiting speakers, and term papers. Prerequisite: minimum grade of 1.7 in B BUS 330; B BSKL 300; minimum grade of 1.7 in CSS 341; minimum grade of 1.7 in CSS 360.

Class description

This course will cover various business models in use by leading companies today. How does technology - specifically the internet enable new and novel business models. How is technology being use to increase sales, marketing. What are key metrics in use today that are used to monitor the impact of IT on the corporation.
