You can locate budgets to which you have direct access, as an owner, or with read-only or read-write access permissions, on the My Budgets page. The following image shows the My Budgets tab with several features numbered, which are described below.

My Budgets page tasklist

From this page, you can

  1. Filter the list.
  2. Sort the list by any single column.
  3. Do an Advanced Search.
  4. Create a New Budget.

By default, the most recently modified budgets appear at the top of the list.

The information displayed for each budget includes:

Field Description
Working Title The name of the budget (entered in Step 1 of the creation process). Click on the name to open the budget.

Note: the Working Title is not the same as the eGC1 Short Title, which is the name associated with the budget number.

Ref # The unique reference number assigned by the system to the budget when you create it. Budget numbers begin with the letter B.
PI The person you have designated as the Principal Investigator (PI) for this budget. This column will be blank if you have not designated a PI.
Budget Status There are three possible values:

  • Created – you started the budget creation wizard, but didn’t complete it. When you open the budget, it will display Step 1 of the wizard. Any data you had entered previously will display.
  • In Progress – you completed the budget creation wizard. When you open the budget, the worksheet will display.
  • Linked to eGC1 – you completed the budget creation wizard. When you open the budget, the worksheet will display, and the eGC1 number will display for the linked period.
Created The creation date of the budget.
Modified The date when the budget was last changed.
Last Modified By The person who made the most recent changes to the budget.
eGC1# The number(s) of the eGC1(s) which are linked to this budget. You can link a budget to multiple eGC1s.

Only 10 budgets display per page. When you have more than 10 budgets on the list, page navigation numbers appear at the lower right. Click a page number to see the items on that page.
