SUBJECT: Supplementation of Stipends of Fellows and Trainees
SUPERSEDES: GIM 5 (Revised October, 1976)
This memorandum updates the Public Health Service and National Science Foundation policies with Attachments A and B regarding supplementation of stipends of fellows and trainees. Both agencies require that grantee institutions have formal policies governing the supplementation of stipends. The University's policy is stated in Attachment C.
