These rates represent the current effective University fringe benefit rates as available in the Financial Accounting System (FAS), and are the only rates that can be used in preparing a budget. Though the rates are effective beginning July 1st of a given year, FAS does not switch to the new rates until 7/16. Budgets prepared from 7/1 to 7/15 using the System to Administer Grants Electronically (SAGE) Budget Module will continue to pull in the old rates until July 16th.
