Before you Begin

• Register with eRA Commons - request from department or OSP administrator

• Check system requirements - is your computer ready?

• Download PureEdge Viewer

• Know how to generate PDF documents

• Get prepared - attend a training session or review online instructional materials

Submission

• Find the Program Announcement on Grants.gov

• Download the appropriate application package from Grants.gov

• Complete the application using PureEdge Viewer Software

• Submit Draft Version to OSP at least 10 days prior to submission deadline via email or CD-ROM

• Submit Final Version to OSP 5 days prior to submission deadline via email or CD-ROM (3 required + 2 days for validation and possible resubmission)

• Verify that the application package on eRA Commons is correct within 2 days of the application's availability
