Organization Code Receiving Funding

General Information

The Organization Code Receiving Funding is the UW's ten digit code used to identify the department or unit that will receive funding.  Ask your fiscal specialist or department administrator what code should be used.  Each UW Organizational Code has a name associated with it.  The name originates from the Org Code Index on the Administrative Mainframe.

This table lists all the fields on the Organization Code Receiving Funding section of the Application Details screen of the eGC1.

Field Name Description More Info
UW Organizational Code Number A ten digit identifier for the department or unit selected.  This information is displayed automatically by SAGE on the Application Details & Summary pages.  
UW Organizational Name The name associated with the identifier selected from the Organizational Code Chooser.  This information is displayed automatically by SAGE.
