The UW eGC1 Status indicates where an eGC1 is in the overall UW routing process. Each eGC1 has only one eGC1 status at a time.
There are 9 UW eGC1 statuses (defined below). For each box that you check, eGC1s in that status are displayed. For example, if you check the Approved checkbox, all applications in Approved eGC1 status are displayed. To display applications in a combination of statuses, check more than one box.
My eGC1 List has a default of Composing status. My Approvals List has a default of Routing status.
Note: If an eGC1 that was viewed as "Waiting for My Approval" from the "My Approval Status" view is withdrawn, it will no longer be visible from that view, but can be seen from the UW eGC1 perspective in the "Withdrawn" status.

| Composing | Checking this box will display applications in the Composing eGC1 status. Applications with this status are still in the preparation phase. This status is not displayed in the My Approvals List. | |
| Routing | Checking this box will display applications in Routing eGC1 status. Applications with this status have been finalized and are currently undergoing routing to approvers. | |
| In OSP | Checking this box will display applications with an eGC1 status of In OSP. Applications with this status have been approved by the PI and all required campus units, and received by OSP and are undergoing the review process. | |
| Approved | Checking this box will display applications in Approved eGC1 status. Applications with this status have been approved by OSP. | |
| Withdrawn | Checking this box will display applications in Withdrawn eGC1 status. An application with this status has been withdrawn by one of its owners and can be edited. eGC1s in the Withdrawn status have stopped routing. | |
| Returned | Checking this box will display applications in Returned eGC1 status. An application with this status was returned for modifications by a campus unit to the PI, Admin/Budget contact and eGC1 creator will resume when the eGC1 is refinalized. | |
| Awarded | Checking this box will display applications in Awarded eGC1 status. An application with this status was Awarded by the sponsor. The awarded status started to be used 7/1/04. Applications prior to this can be found in the "approved" status. | |
| Denied by Sponsor | Checking this box will display applications in Denied by Sponsor eGC1 status. | |
| Permanently Withdrawn | Checking this box will display applications in the Permanently Withdrawn status. An application with this status has been approved by OSP and was not submitted to the sponsor. Only OSP can designate an application "Permanently Withdrawn". Please notify your OSP Administrator when a grant or contract is fully approved by OSP and not submitted to the sponsor for funding consideration. | |

| Select Routing | Clicking this button results in only the eGC1s in Routing status to be displayed. | |
| Select All | Clicking this button causes all of the UW eGC1 status checkboxes (i.e., Routing, In OSP, Approved, Withdrawn, Returned, Awarded and Denied by Sponsor) to be checked, resulting in all of the eGC1s for every status to be displayed. | |
| Switch to My Approval Status View | Click this button to replace the UW eGC1 status checkboxes with My Approval status checkboxes. This button displays only on the My Approvals List. | |
