Email Notifications

General Information

The system will send up to 10 different types of email notification messages during the eApprovals process. Messages alert specific people to take action on a given eGC1/application. The message contains a reason the message was sent and a weblink to the specific eApproval graph. The Email Notifications page in SAGE eApprovals displays the name of the person sent the message, reason, date & time, and the email address where it was sent.

Field Name Description More Info
Name The name of person receiving the notification.  
Rule Type (& Organization)

The role of the person who was sent the email notification. This is based on the role listed on the approval graph.

 
Action Taken The action that was taken in SAGE eApprovals which triggered an email notification be sent.  
Date/Time The date and time the notification was sent.
 
Email Address The "UW Net ID" @u.washington.edu for the person listed above (i.e., bsmith@u.washington.edu)
