PI Assurance Statement

This statement displays when the PI either finalizes or approves an eGC1. The PI must verify that they have read and agree with the statement in order for the eGC1 to continue the routing process. The eGC1 became the system of record for PI approval for applications due May 10th, 2006 or later.

In keeping with the new guidelines, when NIH or AHRQ is the sponsor (or the flow-through sponsor), escalation of PI approval on the eGC1 is no longer available. PIs must approve their own eGC1s according to sponsor policy.
