| Advance Number | This is by far the quickest way to locate your Advance Request if you use but if you do not remember the number there is still hope. |

| PI Last Name | Type the PI's name, minimum two characters. |

| Short Title | Type in atlease a word from the Short Title as viewed on the eGC1 | |
| Budget Number | This is the budget # assigned by GCA or copied from a previous Advance Request | |
| Sponsor Name | Use the information from the accompanying eGC1 | |
| eGC1 Number | Type in the number and use a combination like Item Type | |
| Org Code Receiving Funds | Enter this information from your eGC1 | |
| Item Type | It refers to type of Advance Request being prepared - New Advanced Budget Number Request, Renewal of a Prior Budget Number, Advanced Budget Extension, Advanced Budget Supplement | Details |
