Campus Advisory Groups
Campus advisory groups provide strategic and tactical leadership to
the process of determining scope, development, deployment, training and
communication related to the SAGE system.
Business Advisory Group (BAG)
BAG Members
The SAGE Business Advisory Group (BAG) is comprised of College and
Department level faculty administrators, and directors and heads
of administrative offices directly impacted by the SAGE project. The
BAG is responsible for setting the long-term vision and goals for the
SAGE project, resolving difficult issues that may be escalated by the
Process Improvement Team, and advocating for project resources when
necessary. The BAG’s
broad representation ensures that SAGE deliverables more fully meet
campus needs.
Process Improvement Team (PIT)
PIT Members
The PIT is the primary decision making campus group for the SAGE project.
In conjunction with the Business Advisory Group and key stakeholders,
the PIT determines which solutions meet the immediate needs of the
campus research community while supporting our long-term objectives.
PIT members are chosen based on their experience and expertise in
grants management, and on their ability to represent the broad needs
of campus. The PIT is an ongoing team that will meet for the duration
of the SAGE project.

Budget Module UTG Members
UTGs are comprised of content experts from various campus schools,
colleges and central offices who work together to develop system
requirements through an iterative design process. UTGs are formed
as needed to define requirements and conduct outreach related
to new SAGE functionality.
Current UTGs are working on, developing or improving File Upload
functionality, User Help content, and OSP administrative actions.
User Feedback
The SAGE project solicits and collects feedback through multiple
channels, including holding user feedback sessions associated
with development of new functionality, presenting at QRAM and
other standing administrators’ meetings,
tracking feedback that comes in via SAGEHELP, and meeting
with individuals and groups on an ad hoc basis.
