Help Desk and Support
The Help Desk and Support Program provides assistance to users of ORIS programs via email and phone. Comprehensive online help documentation is also available for self-directed troubleshooting.
Learning
ORIS's Learning function provides learning solutions to support users of ORIS programs, currently including instructor-led classes and online eLearning.
the SAGE Suite
The SAGE Suite is the web-based system for supporting electronic Research Administration (eRA) at the University of Washington. The suite is comprised of three systems - SAGE, SPÆRC, and SERA - three views of a single database. Faculty, administrators, and staff submit funding applications and request advance budget numbers via SAGE. The Office of Sponsored Programs tracks and approves these requests via SPÆRC. The Grant and Contract Accounting office handles post-award functionality via SERA. Investigators disclose their Significant Financial Interests via FIDS.
the DORA Suite
Through collaboration with various local institutions, the DORA suite is being developed to electronically manage IRB applications
Web Information Services
The Web Information Services team aims to ensure that the UW is a great place to do research by
- Developing tools that provide timely, accurate, and accessible research administration information,
- Continually seeking better methods for delivering and managing online content,
- Promoting the accomplishments of the UW research community, and
- Streamlining administrative tasks for Office of Research units.
