Subject: [Mram] Submission Problems with Grants.gov and SAGE Grant Runner

Dear Colleagues,

OSP has been experiencing submission problems with Grants.gov and SAGE Grant Runner applications in the past few days.  We want to assure you that we are working with ORIS to resolve the Grant Runner issues and that help tickets have been opened with Grants.gov for each application experiencing problems.  OSP Administrators and Grant & Contract Coordinators will be in touch with their departments regarding the status of specific applications. Based on past experience we anticipate that all applications submitted in accordance with deadline requirements will be accepted by sponsors.  OSP staff have documented the issue and will continue to shepherd proposals through the process.

Please support your PI and OSP by doing the following:

·         Please don’t panic

·         Please check your eGC1 History & Comments for the most up to date information regarding your submission

·         Please let your PI know that OSP is your advocate in this situation and we are keeping on top of the ever-changing situation.

From the Grants.gov Blog (6/4/13 at 7:00am)

Grants.gov system slowness – Some customers are reporting that the Grants.gov website is currently experiencing slowness or time out errors when downloading and submitting applications. The Grants.gov program management office is aware of the issue and is working to correct the issue as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through the issue.

If you have questions that must be answered, please contact your OSP Team member who reviewed your application and we will do our best to provide additional information.

Thank you for your patience.
