American Diabetes Association seeking grant applications in microbiome research
Now through Sept. 4, the American Diabetes Association is seeking basic, translational and clinical research applications for the American Diabetes Association and GlaxoSmithKline Award in the Microbiome and Metabolic Changes in Diabetes and Obesity. Studies focusing on the relationship between the microbiome and metabolism, including its role in the predisposition to and progression of obesity and diabetes, will be considered. Awards provide up to $375,000 over three years ($125,000 per year including indirect costs) for Basic Science projects. Translational and Clinical Research projects will receive a maximum of $750,000 over three years ($250,000 per year including indirect costs). Get additional information or apply.
