"Official Postings" provide notification to the UW research community of significant changes in policy, procedure or guidance from the Human Subjects Division (HSD) and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Schools, departments, and offices are encouraged to:

• Post these in a prominent place for a sufficient period of time for the information to be viewed by all.
• Create a binder or folder in which postings can be archived for reference.
• Contact HSD via hsdtrain@uw.edu if you require more copies, want to have the Official Postings" sent to someone specific, know of another office to which a copy should be sent, etc.
• Questions about the content of any specific Official Posting" should be directed to the contact/s listed on each individual posting.
