Cancer Consortium IRB at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
The Cancer Consortium IRB (CC-IRB) reviews most oncology studies conducted by UW faculty who are members of the Cancer Consortium. This includes both clinical trials and minimal risk studies.
The Cancer Consortium IRB (CC-IRB) is at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) Institutional Review Office. All the FHCRC IRBs serve as the Cancer Consortium IRB.
Cancer Consortium members who are conducting industry-sponsored and industry-initiated clinical trials may choose to have their studies reviewed by either WIRB or the CC-IRB.
To apply to CC-IRB review, contact the FHCRC Protocol Office. The Protocol Office will help you complete IRB forms and coordinate Scientific Review Committee (SRC) review.
The Protocol Office will sign the UW-CC IRB Cover Sheet and send the cover sheet to hsdinfo@uw.edu on your behalf.
