The UW IRB and Seattle Children's IRB have a Cooperative Agreement stating that if Children's patients, facilities, or resources (including medical records) are involved in the research, IRB review must be conducted at Children's. The UW accepts Children's review for research involving both institutions.  Children's does not accept UW's review if the research involves Children's patients, facilities or resources.
