Compensation for IRB Members
UW IRB members are volunteers who are not compensated directly for their service. However, two kinds of compensation are provided by the Human Subjects Division:
- compensation to the members' department for faculty members.
- compensation to IRB Chairs for the additional responsibilities and time commitment involved in this level of service.
