The Child Health Institute (CHI) is a collaborative research effort comprising faculty and staff from the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Public Health & Community Medicine at the University of Washington. CHI faculty represent the disciplines of pediatrics, psychology, psychiatry, economics, health services and statistics. CHI is one of the few research centers in the United States devoted exclusively to the study of the access, cost-effectiveness, quality and outcomes of health care for children.
