Christopher M. Jordan

Christopher M. Jordan is a first year student in the School of Law. He earned a Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Affairs with a focus in Leadership, Management, and Decision-Making. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington.
During his time at UW, Chris has been heavily involved in student life and student leadership on campus. For three years, he served as a Resident Adviser for Housing & Food Services and wrote as an Opinion Columnist for The UW Daily student newspaper. As ASUW’s Public Relations Coordinator, Chris improved ASUW’s external communications and raised the profile of student advocacy efforts. During the 2010-2011 academic year, Chris served on the UW Provost’s Student Advisory Committee, where he provided input and recommendations to the Provost on pressing budget and academic issues facing the University.
Chris is passionate about public policy and dedicated to public service. He worked as an Outreach Coordinator for the nonpartisan, nonprofit Economic Opportunity Institute. He also completed internships in the Washington, D.C. Office of Senator Patty Murray and in the Office of Spokane Mayor Mary Verner, where he focused on legislative and government affairs.
Born and raised in Spokane, Chris returns home to Eastern Washington regularly.
