General Information:
Members of the Board of Regents meet monthly to be advised of important matters related to the University of Washington and to take formal action on others. The Board of Regents currently functions with two formal committees: Finance, Audit and Facilities, chaired by Regent Kristi Blake, and Academic and Student Affairs Committee, chaired by Regent Herb Simon. Information on the governace of Board Committees is located in the Board Bylaws (click here to view the bylaws and scroll to section 3). Agendas are developed 3-4 weeks in advance of a meeting. For items to be considered
by the Academic and Student Affairs Committee, please contact the Office of
the Provost (huling@u.washington.edu),
and for items to be considered by the Finance, Audit and Facilities Committee,
please contact the Office of the Senior Vice President for Finance and Facilities
(SrVP@u.washington.edu). It is the
responsibility of the Office of the Provost and the Senior Vice President for
Finance and Facilities to meet the deadlines established by the Office of the
Board of Regents (see below) . Formatting for items to be submitted may be found

NOTE: The deadlines for the Offices of the Provost and Senior
Vice President will be earlier than the dates noted below. Please contact them
to ensure your items will make it on to the Board of Regents agenda.
