Biography

Erin L. Lennon is a third-year law student at the University of Washington. In addition to being the student regent, she is a managing editor of Washington Law Review, a peer mentor, a student ambassador, and she serves on the board of Outlaws, the law school's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender student organization.

Erin graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Washington in 2002 with a B.A. in Sociology. She then worked in HIV research for the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she managed regulatory affairs for the HIV Prevention Trials Unit and led protocol trainings in Eastern and Southern Africa for a clinical trial sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Erin is also active in QLaw, the Washington State Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Bar Association. She has previously worked as a consultant for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and has volunteered at the Young Adult Shelter in the University District.
