SHARED LEAVE PROGRAM

The Professional Staff Organization is committed to supporting its members, especially when they, or their family members, have a serious medical condition. Shared leave is a UW benefit that can be extremely helpful when an employee is facing several months of leave without pay while recovering from or coping with a serious medical condition (or a family member’s serious medical condition).

PEER NETWORKING GROUPS

The Professional Staff Organization encourages PSO members’ professional development via participation in peer networking groups both on and off campus. Peer networking groups can be formal or informal, large or small, work-related or social. Most have regular meetings and active email lists. Joining groups is a great way to meet your peers, stay current in your field, and share your talents.
