The interim University Technology Advisory Committee (interim U-TAC) provides advice and guidance on University of Washington information technology policies, strategies, issues, directions, and priorities. The committee is advisory to the Provost and has purview over all University information technology issues at all levels and across the University, including research, academic, and administrative computing and infrastructure. The committee performs project oversight and carries out other activities as required to meet the UW's regulatory obligations.
The committee is responsible for all areas of information technology formerly covered by the Academic Technology Advisory Committee (A-TAC) and Information Management Advisory Committee (I-MAC).
